F Cancer is a 501 (c)3 nonprofit and registered charity that uses wit and humor to improve health outcomes. They aimed to evolve their brand, increase brand awareness, and boost donations through human-centered campaigns and evergreen partnerships.
F Cancer needed a brand that represented everyone in the fight against cancer, but that also expressed the individual battles; breast cancer, lung cancer, leukemia, melanoma, etc. With the cancer-fighting community already adopting the color ribbon visual, it was a natural choice to incorporate that into the new logo. The ribbon creating the “CK” allows the community to see themselves represented and, in unison, share why they say, “F Cancer.”
While overseeing the social channels, I implemented strong community-driven campaigns that boosted engagement. I worked with strategic partners to create informative and conversation-driving posts and revise the weekly posting schedule. In my time with the organization, I was able to grow the social community by 45% and give validity to not only the brand's voice but also the larger community.
